As Co-President of APAMSA at UNR Med, I led efforts to promote health, representation, and belonging within Reno’s Asian and Pacific Islander communities. Our team organized health drives, built partnerships with the Asian Community Development Council, and collaborated with community leaders to empower underserved populations. On campus, we hosted cultural events, matcha socials, and student-led Diversity Dialogue series focused on shattering stereotypes, addressing mental health stigma, and celebrating wellness in the AAPI community.
